Fury Among Students as DSEU Scraps Lunch Break, Introduces Back-to-Back Classes

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has sparked outrage among its students by removing the lunch break and introducing back-to-back classes from 9 am to 5 pm. The decision, which affects all 22 DSEU campuses, aims to create a centralized timetable in line with the National Education Policy 2020. According to Joint Director Kamna Sachdeva, classes for the first batch end by 1:30 pm, eliminating the need for a lunch break. However, students are furious about having to adapt to eight hours of continuous classes without a break. The move has been met with widespread criticism, with students expressing concerns about their physical and mental well-being. "How are we supposed to focus on our studies without a break?" asked a frustrated student. "This decision is inconsiderate and will lead to burnout."
